Our Guatemala Solidarity Project continues to thrive and engage our school community, even though this year the trip does not take place in the country. The spirit of solidarity, the connections with local associations, and concrete initiatives remain active and open to all contributions.

A project with meaning

This project is more than a school trip. It represents a human experience centred on strong values:

  • Concrete solidarity: supporting associations that have been helping vulnerable children and families for years. (Educando Guatemala)
  • Awareness and openness: enabling students to understand other realities and become active participants in a fairer world.
  • Civic engagement: giving everyone the opportunity to take part and see their actions make a real difference.

Our partners in Guatemala, Educando Guatemala and Caras Alegres, continue to support children and women through educational, social, and cultural projects, ensuring that every donation is used efficiently and transparently.

How to contribute

Your support is essential to keep the project alive and active:

  1. Make a direct donation
  • IBAN: NL50 RABO 0366 1726 03
  • Account holder: Stichting Caras Alegres
  • Reference: Donation – Guatemala Project
  1. Sponsorship
  • Individual sponsorship: €50/month to support a child and receive regular updates on their progress.
  • Collective sponsorship: contributions to structured programmes (school meals, educational support…), with shared impact for all.

Every contribution helps the associations continue their work and keeps students connected to this unique human experience.

Why it matters

The project teaches students the importance of solidarity, commitment, and respect for other realities. At the same time, it provides tangible support to local partners who change children’s lives every day.

Thanks to you, the Guatemala Project remains alive and continues to make a difference. Thank you for your support!
