Solidarity Project 2026: Focus on El Salvador
For several years, the European School of Brussels I has been developing solidarity projects that allow students to discover different social realities while engaging in meaningful action alongside local organisations.
For the 2025–2026 school year, the project initially planned in Guatemala had to be adapted due to the recent evolution of the context in the region. As a precaution, and in order to ensure the best possible conditions for participating students, the project has been redirected towards El Salvador, in partnership with Fundación CINDE.
This adjustment does not affect the strong relationships built with our partners in Guatemala. The Guatemala Project remains active, and our commitment to supporting these partner institutions continues.
An educational and meaningful initiative
The El Salvador Project 2026 will give students the opportunity to engage in a concrete act of international solidarity. Activities organised within the school will support the educational and social programmes carried out by Fundación CINDE, which works with children and young people in vulnerable situations.
Beyond material support, this project is прежде всего a human experience, centred on exchange, awareness and engagement.
How to support the project
Families who wish to do so are warmly invited to support Fundación CINDE directly.
Each donation contributes in a very concrete way to improving access to education, support and daily living conditions for the children involved.
