EEB1’s Third TIME Project Participation
Marking 30th Anniversary of this Global Event
On 28 November 2025, EEB1 students once again took part in the TIME Project for the third year in a row, marking a special milestone as 2025 was the 30th anniversary of the event. But, for our students it is even more special as we have achieved the 4th place in the Unite the Nation Quiz, representing Belgium out of 20+schools from 11 countries worldwide, which is so far the best result our students have achieved since joining the project in November 2023. Read more on the project’s official website.
The project led by Ms. Smolcec and supported by Ms. Gomolova brought together many motivated students from S6 and S7 classes for a full day of international collaboration and exchange.
Throughout the day, besides researching and answering questions on the UN quiz, students engaged in House of Common debates, presentations, and discussions with peers from across the world. They actively shared their opinions and demonstrated strong listening and communication skills on this year’s UN SDG topics like: Responsible Consumption and Production, Mental Health and Wellbeing, and Sustainable Cities.
This year we travelled online to 7 different schools from: Turkey, Croatia, India, Poland, Canada and Taiwan.
This experience once again highlighted our students’ commitment, global awareness, and ability to engage thoughtfully with important global issues, making EEB1’s continued participation in the TIME Project a regular and engaging event of collaboration and learning.
