Since October 2019, the school has included an LGBTQ+ group. Every Thursday, about twenty students meet to exchange about gender and sexuality.

“Rainbow group” is a free and secure space of exchange supervised by Mr. Masson and Mr. Costello. It was set up because they both think it is important to have a free space to discuss, question and learn about gender and sexuality and that the two teachers would also have liked to have access to this type of group when they were younger. “The Rainbow group also exists to reassure students who are part of the LGBTQ+ community or who are questioning their gender or sexuality that there is a space dedicated to them.”

This weekly meeting is intended for all high school students and takes place every Thursday from 1:20 to 2:10 pm in R111. During these meetings, students and teachers have already discussed topics such as: “how to react to a coming out”, “creation of unisex toilets”, “the representation of the LGBTQ+ community in music”, etc.
